Rail
San Engineering has been instrumental in the buildout of RTD's Fastracks commuter rail system throughout the Denver Metropolitan area. We have designed bridges, stations and all other aspects of the structural infrastructure of the East, Gold, Northwest Electrified, I-225, and North Metro corridor segments. In addition, San Engineering has provided Civil Engineering services including erosion control, drainage, and utility design for the new commuter rail lines.
Our services extend to heavy freight rail and Amtrak. Our Structural Staff are very familiar with the heavy loads and unique structural requirements associated with the AREMA codes, having designed bridges for BNSF and Union Pacific tracks and station canopies for Amtrak lines.
