First Creek Improvements at 56th Avenue Roadway and Pedestrian Bridge Design
San Engineering performed Bridge Engineering for channel and trail improvements along First Creek at 56th Avenue for the City and County of Denver. The project included a unique 2-span concrete bridge carrying 56th Avenue over First Creek and the trail, as well as a continuous 3-span reinforced concrete bridge carrying the trail over First Creek. Special structural details were developed at the bridge in order to accommodate existing utilities. Structural support services were provided throughout the construction phase.
